Why do churches display BOTH; the Christian flag and the American flag?
Is there an important connotation to make note of?
The government certainly doesn’t display the Christian flag, they’ve even knocked down the ten commandments from the courthouse and kicked out the judge who chose to have them displayed.
What do you think?
Thanks…

Respect of a country founded by godly people.
In my experience it would be rare and prob. a special occasion to see a Christian Church flying both flags. I have once or twice in my life seen a non-Christian ( Secular/National) flag displayed in a Church. Once to endorse acceptance of Aust. Aborigines and the British flag( in an Anglican Church). Except for the flag of the Holy See, these flags were inside the church.
I do not think it wrong to fly both, especially because numerous nations had the missionary and formative help of, for example, the Catholic Church in particular, to become a Nation. Today, many Nations have forgotten that fact and choose to fly their National Flag. This is OK for Christians because they see in the notion of Nation, an implicit but unstated reference to God.
What is a christian flag? Why not asking meaningful questions?
All I can say is that I love the American and Christian flag for what they represent.
What’s a/the Christian flag?
That’s a concept I haven’t heard of before.
" It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible". – George Washington
" The Bible is the cornerstone of liberty". — Thomas Jefferson"
"That Book (the Bible), sir, is the Rock on which our Republic rests". – Andrew Jackson
There is a Christian flag???
Christians are delusional cult victims
If an American flag was put up in a church outside America it would be set alight in next to no time and other than the Papal flag there is no Christian flag. That isn’t displayed in churches, either.
Well, i can’t speak for the States. Anglican churches here have, i think, a picture of the Queen. This is because they are part of an established church, but since the US is officially secular, it seems quite inappropriate to have one there.
soon you will see the islamic flag by the amrican flag.
There is no Christian flag.
You have seen what someone – in your
small part of the world – has suggested
is a "Christian flag." Big difference.
because… they’re proud to be christians… and they’re proud to be Americans?
That would signify The Kingdom of God in America.
There is no flag at my church.
I’m glad not to be an American.
