Better flag pole parts means better flag life value. That’s our thing at www.flagdesk.com! In this video, we look at the beaded retainer ring, which has been worn down and is now contributing to the flags fraying. http We marvel at the cost of beautiful flag pole’s just like these on the Ball State University campus flying flags that can no longer offer the flag ‘long flag life’. The power, energy and vitality of the flag cut short by snags and barbs on flag pole parts. Parts that broke down long ago and now the flags pay the price. Inexpensive replacement parts that are easy flag pole maintenance are only a matter of clicks away with minimal information. We’re flag runners, running to your flag pole to examine the components that literally allow the flag pole to work effectively. We find it all the time, a flag pole aging more than 3 to 5 years, we know right away that your flag dealer is just selling you flags when they should be getting your flags to sell themselves. What that means is your flags last long enough to pay off for you. We take care of parts to pay off our commitment ‘to give your people and flag to follow’. This video showcases a flag pole approximately 3-4 years old. The hardware for the flag pole parts, specifically the ‘beaded retainer rings’, are causing all the trouble. Just this little problem that has such a simple and inexpensive fix is being over looked. The flag manager just probably has no idea what to do, look for, what to ask for to get it …
I am having a legislative meeting at my office and the american flag and state flag are being displayed on a table. What is the display protacol? Should the american flag be displayed to the right of the state flag or visa versa?
I’m interested in putting up a flag pole, but I don’t know how to go about doing it I have a few questions;
1. Should I hire someone or is it something I can do myself?
2. How much will it cost total to install (excluding the flag)?
3. Would it be better to get a pole that attaches to the house instead of the actual pole? My house is 1 story and full brick, so it would have to attach to the eaves.
4. What kind of flag etiquette would be appropriate for this type of flag use? What I mean, do I need to take it down every night, or when it rains/storms, would I need to fold it properly when I take it down.
5. If I wanted to also put my state flag up would it be okay to put them on the same pole if state flag is smaller?
Anyone have a flag in their yard, who can answer these?
I’d like to display an air quality notification flag on our City’s flag pole that contains the US Flag, State Flag and City Flag, in that order. The air quality flag would be below those. Does proper flag protocol adress this?
I was at a recent event in an auditorium where approximately 30 international flags, a state flag, and the American flag were displayed. The international flags were displayed towards the rear of the stage and were hung from wires. The American and the state flags were actually on the stage on flag poles, Hence, the American flag was displayed lowered than the accompanying international flags. I remember being taught that when the American flag is displayed with international flags, it should be flown at at least the same height as the others. So, is the described situation improper flag etiquette or is there a rule that allows for it?
