My company recently opened a new facility in Charlotte and we would like to display the American flag along with a flag for each branch of our military service and a POW MIA flag. I have read online regarding etiquette, but one area so far I haven’t found an answer I am hoping you can help with.
We are planning to display the flags hanging from our ceiling. As our customers enter our front door the American flag will be in the far left position.
As I understand it, from left to right we should display in this order:
•America Flag
•Army
•Marine Corps
•Navy
•Air Force
•Coast Guard
Where in this order should the POW MIA flag be displayed?
I am decorating for an auction with a travel theme. I’d like to use flags from foreign countries to drape over the tables for table cloths. I’m talking red white and green fabric sewn together like an Italian flag not an actual flag. Is this disrespectful or is it ok to do? I don’t want to be disrespectful to anyone’s flag.
