Flag etiquette dictates that the flag is never supposed to touch the ground. However, I’ve seen several performances by military and civilian paratroopers where one of them usually has the flag hanging below them as they parachute down to the ground. The flag is obviously the first thing to hit the ground as they land. What are the exact rules to this?
