Etiquette for Flying State Flag with American Flag?
I need to find some more specific information in regards to displaying both the American Flag and a state flag on a single pole. My question is in regards to the state flag.
I visited five different “Flag Etiquette” websites, and all I could come up with in regards is that the American Flag should be flown on top.
Should the state flag be the same size as the American Flag, or does it matter if it’s smaller?

The flags should be of the same size are as close as possible.
If the flags are not the same size, the U.S. flag must be the larger of the two.
The state flag can be the same size or smaller.
as long as the state flag is not bigger it is fine remember to take flag down in bad weather. if you shine light on it you dont have to take it down at night.
